Perhaps you're wondering why I've chosen Moonglade Media as my imprint? One warm late-August evening over twenty years ago, my husband and I were sitting on a large outcrop along Lake Superior. I still sense the rock beneath my hands, worn satin-smooth from eons of water and wind, and warm from the sun which had recently slipped below the horizon. As we lamented the waning summer, the sky darkened gradually until another sphere of light began to rise. It cast a sliver of light which shimmered across the glassy water and landed at our feet. While the moon slowly ascended toward its post in the deep-blue sky, the swath of light widened until it seemed as if a giant spotlight were trained on us--actors on an unlit stage. Later, I learned that the name of that phenomenon was moonglade: n. the silvery reflection of moonlight on water. That light in the darkness seemed to be nature's own metaphor describing God's omnipresence--guiding, comforting, encouraging, strengthening and loving me in the dark days and nights of my life.  I decided then that Moonglade would be my imprint when I wrote my first book-- it took me twenty years, but better late...
